Client: Nike SB x Welcome Madrid
This is the first Madrid-inspired Nike shoe, built on the classic Blazer Mid skate silhouette. Every design element reflects the question: What does it mean to be castizo? Our references include traditional casas de comidas, Goya, the chulapos, and more abstract themes such as friendship.
I also worked on the illustrations needed to support the design.
